For those who are interested in seing another video by 5D2..this is one of the best I've seen. Despite the camera's limitations, some pretty damn good footage can come from this when in the hands of talented people.http://www.usa.canon.com/dlc/controller?act=GetArticleAct&articleID=2667Sorry if it's been posted but I havn't seen any links to it so far.

It is awesomeHow much post processing do you think they did to get the colors that punchy? -- Is it done yet?

... but that's a pretty cool video. I do think it speaks as much about the person's editing ability as it does the quality of the video, though. Thanks for the link... --Gallery at:http://www.pbase.com/tim32225

I agree, talent all around for that production. However, garbage in, garbage out, it's only as good as the weakest link. Quality capture, quality direction, and quality editing, makes for a quality outcome. And I'm sure there was processing to the video, but also the video was shot a lot during the "magic our" (dusk, late afternoon) and that helps produce saturated colors too.

i wonder if some of it is not crushing 0-255 video by expanding it since most viewers expect 16-246 for video?Matthew Rangewrote:It is awesomeHow much post processing do you think they did to get the colors that punchy? -- Is it done yet?
