I have a laptop with vista 64 and have not been able to download any version of adobe acr, however I've been using acr for years on my desktop wiithwindow xP. Any help greatly appreciated Thanks

I am running Vista x64 with CS3, CS4 and LR 2.2 installed. ACR isn't a problem and the downloads run fine. I suspect you may have a problem with Vista's User Account Control if you're having an issue with the download updates. Since the download wants to modify a system area, you'll need to supply administrator permission -- which is new to Vista.Can you provide more info about what you mean by "can't download"?

Chuck,Thanks for your response. I downloaded Photoshop Lightroom 2 and had not problems at all, so I decided to download ACR and have not been able to do so. My thinking was that if LR will download ACR would also, now I'm not sure. Again thanks for the response

I use ACR on my vista 64 bit machine fine, but I could not install the new beta. Its apparently not yet ready for 64 bit?
