I think that in this kind of situdation the 5D is most cost / effecitve choise.if you can't stretch your budget a little bit more, the 5D should be enough.Great ISO solution, Great IQ --

I'm keeping my 10D but I want to sell my 5D as I've got the MkII on the way (hopefully). I've no idea what price to ask.

second hand 5d is about £700.00 5d Mk 2 is about £2000.

I hope you're right, I'd be happy to get £700 for mine as I bought it very cheaply.

for what it's worth, I have recently upgraded my EOS 400D to a 1D mkII and haven't regret this for a second so far.I was doubting between 1D2 and 5D but because I do too much action, I chose for the 1D2. I bought this one for 1100 € with 2 extra batteries and a cable-remote.Anyway, 5D is still a superbe camera also!Good luck!
