The first two guys with the stumped expressions are just downright hysterical.

Looks like your white balance is off (typical on Canon cameras when inside with no flash and auto white balance). Otherwise, interesting shots.

Nice photos.I think you might be happier if you adjusted your white balance. If you shot them in RAW mode, this is easy to do with Canon DPP software that came with the camera. If you are shooting JPEG, than, you may want to set this ahead of time next time. ..Just guessing, you probably wanted to set the white balance to a tungsten mode for those shots.enjoy, Dave

Terima kasih (Thank you) guys for the remarks given...What's the appropriate white balance setting for these kind of shots..?& how to adjust this shoot to make it a better one ?I tried it using 'auto' in photoshop but look more or less the same though..By the way, I shot in.jpeg...Terima kasih again.. -- -tabrizi- [http://tabrizi.smugmug.com]

The 30D has a very warm, way too warm, look when left in AWB mode under incandescent lighting. It's so bad I consider it a design flaw. One solution is to blissfully shoot RAW while not paying the slightest attention to the color of light and then fix it later. If you shoot jpeg only, however, you need to be aware of this issue and set WB manually. You can adjust WB with jpegs in Photoshop and others, but the quality of the adjustment and final output is severely lacking compared to RAW.Couple of 30D side notes: 30D AWB does an excellent job in natural light and very good with flash. If you nail the white balance and exposure perfectly, it is very hard to beat the in camera jpegs with any RAW processing program. The reason I shoot RAW all the time is that it is very rare that I get everything perfect in camera, especially exposure.

Photo shop can get rid of some of the WB problems. -- Taking pictures is easy, making them art is hard.

Blue II

Hope you don't mind. Here's a quick redo of WB in Photoshop. Could probably do better with more time.Modified White BalanceOriginal

Thanx Steve for your time on the shot...Lool more natural in the adjusted one, with less warm tone on the shot...Hmmm..Guess need to borrow this 30D more often in the future...Hehehehe...

Or you can use lower color temp, say, 4000, instead of default 5200. You also can fix it with picasa tool. -- BoSox

amarjie

The guy in 1st shot is in the 1st place right now in the league rank..Cheers..

amarjie
