R50 and RF-S 55-210

Thought I'd throw in a few shots from the weekend as this is a fresh lens. The R50 may share the R10 sensor, but the lens is new-new. SOOC JPEGs, which I might argue, is who it should be. RAWs although flexible, if we're being honest are to fine tune a shot. If the SOOC JPEG didn't need tuning, do you need a RAW? I'll leave it at that. I am a RAW shooter btw...

Really nice shots!   I’m looking to upgrade my M50 mainly for video quality to the R50 or something else, but I have no complaints about image quality in the M50.  Looks like it’s doing a great job!

Looks like it’s doing a great job!The video quality is fantastic. It had me thinking about IPB light on my R3. I say thinking as after testing, shooting ALL-I and then converting later on the computer does yield better quality, but, takes FOREVER. My computer was chomping most of yesterday on my R3 footage converting it for viewing on my Roku TV which doesn’t like / can’t take ALL-I.The R50 footage on the other hand plays on the Roku without converting and is pleasing to the eye. Audio pickup is good for going Rode-less.

My R3 ain't bitting the dust, not that I was planning on it.
