XT4 Playback button

When pictures playback on X-T4 with zoom, why Fuji make use of the 8 ways joystick and 4 navigator buttons as scrolling? When I want to see next picture I have to turn to front command dial ! Why Fuji don't make use the 4 ways navigator buttons as forward or backward picture payback? It is better and faster than using front command dial. Wasn't it ?

Hi,You might be right - your suggestion would be an alternative.  However, Fuji have kept the system they've used on the XT4 from earlier models.  It may just be that they want to keep consistency for their consumers.  If they kept changing the navigation from model to model, people would complain.Having just upgraded from an XT1 to an XT4, I find the irritating thing about the XT4's play back is that the rear scroll-wheel push switch returns the playback zoom to the full image.  After using the XT1 (which doesn't have the push switch feature on the rear scroll wheel) I habitually tend to push the XT4 scroll wheel a little too hard.  It keeps returning accidentally to full image before I get zoomed in as far as I want to go.  It seems nonsensical to me to have the scroll wheel and push switch canceling each other.  I'd prefer it if they gave the push switch no function in play back and then I could just use the OK button in the middle of the four-way to return the zoom to full image when I'm ready.   I guess I'll get used to it....Regards, Rod

I'm not sure I understand, on my X100V (and X-Pro2 I think) the joystick advances to the next photo when not zoomed in. When zoomed in it makes sense that the joystick pans around; otherwise how would you accomplish this without a touchscreen?. Or you can just just swipe the touchscreen to advanced to the next photo. One benefit of the front wheel is that it lets you advance to the next photo while zoomed in. This is great for checking focus on a burst of photos. The rear wheel lets you zoom in and out a bit, instead of just toggling between full screen and maximum zoom by pressing it in.
