Flash for Leica D-Lux 7
Samtc
All,I am traveling to Paris and Brussels in June. I am an aviation enthusiast and intend to visit two museums related to Pre-WWI aircraft. I have the CFD Flash which, as a rule, is good to 15 to 18 feet. The D-Lux performs well without flash, but......There are trade offs with everything, but I'd rather carry a camera with a flash and not a flash with a camera.Any suggestions?

I could not find the FL-200L but did find the Metz 26 AF-2 on mpb.com for $44 ! I used to own a Metz, back when you had to carry a battery case with a PF-497 brick of a battery. It was a solid flash. Will continue to try and find the Lumix; I have a couple months before we leave to try them out. Thanks for the reply!!

There's a small plastic ridge that has to be filed off for Panasonic/Leica cameras but it's TTL, pan/tilt, no batteries and easily fits into a shirt chest pocket. Not much power of course but is quite a capable fill flash.

Thanks,I'll pick one up, they are all over eBay. So far the only one that has arrived is the Metz 26 AF-2. I amveryhappy with the results. We leave for Paris at the end of May so I have time to pick one out. Thanks!
