My Favorite Lens - Leica APO-Summicron-M 50 f/2 ASPH
RSColo
Because of no particular reason I was reminded of how excited I was when I received my 50mm lens. Back then I only had the Monochrom I (CCD). But the combination was wonderful. I quickly took a photo of some spice bottles in the kitchen with lots of shiny reflections. I now use the same lens on my M10-M and M10-R, by far my most used lens. It is still just as magical. Here is a photo I took on a trip to California's Big Sur shortly after I got my M10-M. This JPG has been processed and designed as an 8x10 inch print, so no out of the camera RAW image here. But it still does share the quality of this wonderful lens.Soberanes Point Groundcover 8x10

Yes, that lens is amazing. I remember looking at a photo of my daughter wearing a jacket, and I could see the texture of the fabric on a 24MP M10 photo I hadn’t noticed. You can’t see it it with the naked eye but the 50 ‘cron ASPH captured it and you can only see it up close with a magnifying glass.
