Want a CL for the Sigma I Lenses, am I crazy?

How close is the Sigma to the Summilux? I own the 18-56 and it has been a nice surprise. Do the Sigma and Summilux both blow it away IQ wise? Obviously 30 vs 35 is different but I am talking sharpness etc.Thank you.For the OP. I love my CL but have not shot with Sigma lenses.I have had all of the TL lenses, the CL since launch so five years now, and many of the Sigma lenses.  The 35TL is simply in a class of it's own IMO, the 60TL is also excellent.I have simplified my aps-c set up as I have another system I use for sports/wildlife/telephoto and I use Leica M mount lenses on my CL much of the time.I originally just kept the 18/35/60 TL lenses but have added the sigma 18-50 2.8 and Sigma 56 1.4.  The Sigma zoom is good, I like the constant 2.8 compared to the slower TL 18-56 though honestly think the TL zoom is the better lens IQ wise.

Jayboo, Thank you very much for the friendly and informative post.  I am taking a hard look at that 35.  I love the CL. I own many cameras from point-and-shoot to full-frame (multiple brands) and by far the CL is my favorite. Thanks again for being helpful!Posts like yours will make me miss the DPR.

Because of that though you may get lucky and be able to pick up a used 35TL as some move on to other camera's.Happy shooting.

I have the 35 and the Sigma 30 1.4.  As jayneboo said, there really is no comparison for anything to the TL 35.  That said, it is a beast of a lens and you can walk around all day with the 30 1.4 and not even notice it's there. And like everyone else here, I am in serious shock at the closure of dpreview.  This was a place that made the internet more whole for me.  What a travesty!!!!!
