I guess the first one is the gross number of posts and the profile one is the posts remaining that never were deleted or removed by moderators. This post (if anyone looks) will initially appear at 39,998 so only two more and *zap* I'm out of here.By the way it is already April 1 here in Oz so not a joke, I'm for real.

except for challenges, as there r other forums to attend to, and give time for folks to read my last posts.

I rave on in many posts and often wonder if anybody reads them. The basement is progressing, but unsuitable weather means it is stalled a little before I order the next two tonnes of 10mm gravel for the next concrete mixing adventure.Anyway, this reply has triggered me to go to my 40,000th post so it's time to go away. I may still read the forums but I am determined to stop posting any more. Basically, I've left the building....Earlier on I did promise fireworks, so here they are....That was back in 2014 while at a night meetup sponsored by Olympus and a Sydney camera store. We were busy taking city night shots and playing with the mess of cameras and lenses that Olympus had brought along, when suddenly fireworks popped up. So lucky. The fireworks were at the end of the Opera on the Harbour every night for a short season, they still have those eventshttps://opera.org.au/productions/madama-butterfly-on-sydney-harbour/they run the opera on floating stages (usually?) on the next headland to the left of the Opera House.Goodbye all, and it has been fun in the last 20 years of DPR for me.

The soap series All My Children lasted 22 seasons, DPR 25. All things have their season(s)…. and then they don’t.
