... Don: Enjoyed photos #1 and #3. #2 is direct sunlight which is never special.... People criticize blurred foregrounds, but they are great when they work and are balanced. They add depth and intrigue. Resolution aside, I enjoyed this composition within.

Thanks for the critique Iain.  Here is my tighter crop of the image. The 'in focus' leaves are the pixy dust that makes the pic for me..here is the other frame of sequence, with her eyes open and a little throat color, to me it lost a lot of mystic.....don

Nice action.Try to photograph when the sun is less harsh though. Either on an overcast day or early morning / later afternoon. It really can make a world of difference to the feel of a photograph.
