High iso with D3300
None
I use my D3300 as a light wieght lowlight kit for covering my local blues scene. I use it with either the 50mm f1.8G or the 85mm. I`m really impressed with the high iso jpegs sooc . Heres one of a great many i`ve shot since getting the little D3300.Iso 12,800 sooc apart from its been resized to fit dpr gallery. Cheers Paul UK.

Amazing. Just 10 years ago things got out of hand very quickly when shooting a $4,000 Nikon D2x at ISO800. We've come a long way in sensor/processor technology since then.

The difference to older DX sensors (say, D60, D90) is indeed stunning - not so much in terms of noise (there is an obvious smearing of noise removal), but rather in terms of tonality. Pretty good results from a humble entry-level camera

Wow! That's very, very clean for an entry-level DSLR.I own a D3200 but I haven't really gotten to use it in low-light yet. With DST, it's a good bit into the night before it is even remotely dark. Oh well!Best wishes,Aidan
