Family Travel Kit?

I got my first DSLR last Christmas (a D5200), and have been slowly learning how to use it.  I'm at the point that I think its worth the extra weight to start traveling with it.I'm going on a few trips this summer and fall (Toronto and Charleston with the entire family, and then Spain with my wife).  I own a Sigma 17-70 'C' and a Sigma 70-300 OS but I have free access to my brother-in-law's lenses.  He has a Sigma 18-200 'C', a Nikon 35mm 1.8, a Nikon 50mm 1.8, and a Tokina 11-16.I know I want to carry 3 lenses max (it's what fits in my bag).  Right now I'm leaning toward my 17-70, the 35mm, and 11-16.  However the 18-200 is tempting in place of my 17-70, as that will give me extra reach at the cost of some quality.I also don't have a flash right now, and am considering getting one under $150.  Is this worthwhile given I have limited time to learn how to use it?Anyway I wanted to ask more experienced photographers what they would recommend me traveling with?

I agree, take the:11-1635 1.817-70I shot wide in Spain (12-24) and the 35 will be great for low light situations. The 17-70 will make a nice walk-around lens!
