Hi guys,I have been shooting in LV stacking images for greater depth of field, that means magnified manual focusingĀ off the rear screen, firing off the shutter with a remote shutter button........after the exposure, the image appears on the rear screen before the camera redisplays the current LV image in it's non magnified form.............the annoying thing is, I then have to press + (loupe) three times to be able to carefully refocus again for the next shot!Am I missing a setting somewhere so I don't have keep pressing the + three loupe button after the camera has displayed the taken imageĀ and can the LV image always remain at the same magnification as before the image was taken? When your stacking thirty or so images that makes for a painful amount of button pressing!
None
Presumably you are using some flavor of Nikon as we're in the Nikon forumI'm pretty sure such a function is only available in reviewing an image already saved.Does sound like a useful function however.I'm unaware of anything that should solve your issue on any of my other bodies, although they are only current through the D800e.Pretty sure my Pentax 645z would do this however.

I am not too sure what you are photographing but I assume it's macro work as non-Marco can be done by increasing DoF.I found the following article a useful way of doing it. You don't need to refocus at all you just move the camera backwards and forwards to adjust focus.http://extreme-macro.co.uk/focus-stacking/https://www.europe-nikon.com/en_GB/learn-and-explore/photography-articles.tag/learn_and_explore/photography_articles/focus-stacking-for-close-up-detail.dcr
