Will a Nikon foot for 70-200 ii work on a RRS collar?

This may seem like a strange question, but I have an Arca Swiss P0 head with the new Arca mount.Since I have the foot for my 70-200 F 2.8 already with the Arca plate on it, I was wondering If I could just purchase the RRS collar for the 70-200 F4 and the RRS collar for the 300 F4 and use the same foot on all of them since they all use the same RRS foot.

Sure - I would think so; the attachment mechanism is the same. The downside is trying to remember to bring the foot and plate with the lens (if you're only bringing one of the lenses). When I owned the 70-200mm II and the 300mm f4 AFS I only had one foot, and Murphy's Law intervened on more than one occasion.  I now have two RRS feet; one for my 70-200mm f4 collar and one for my 300mm f4 collar, and I don't have to unpacked my gear half way to my destination to make sure I have the foot!

Thanks!! I will probably buy some RRS feet in the future. But, for now It would save me $100.00. Even though it should work in theory, do you still have a Nikon foot you could try on your RRS collar and make sure? Thanks again!!!

One advantage the Nikon foot has in my situation is the Nikon has two thread holes vs the RRS's one and my plate has two screws.

I sold my 70-200 II (and foot) for the 70-200 f4 - perhaps someone else here can try it for you.
