Landscapes and Seascapes are the best utilization of the Z7 series ,,,

Mr Giggles

I have been experimenting with a Z7 for about half a year now .When used as a street camera I never feel that it keeps up with my D500 which for lack of a better term has a "6th sense " and can read my mind - it seems to know exactly what I want to photograph .I always feel like I am held back by the Z7 and quite frankly its nuts to have to spend $6000 on a pro body  to get the responsiveness needed for streetfor architecture I think a SLR with professional tilt shift lens would be the ticketfor product and studio .... probably a Fuji Medium formatin the field photographing birds ?  ........  the D500 again with massive battery life and optimal viewfinder  and huge selection of pro glass at reasonable prices second handso where does the Z7 series shine ?LANDSCAPES and SEASCAPES   !Where it is small and light - has amazing resolution and dynamic range and most important ... arguably the best landscape lens in the world - the Nikon Z 20 f1.8 S.If a hack like me can take images like this with the combo - you know its pretty good

Well the Z6/Z7 are definitely more generalist cameras, they can do a lot of things well, including video. The Z9, D500, Fuji GFX, and I'll add X100v cameras are for people who have more special use case like events/wildlife/fashion/street.I shoot a lot of different things so Z6/Z7 is more fitting, and why I like those. Fuji X-T3/X-T4 is that cam in Fujiland.
