I notice in image 4 what I consider to be excessive noise in the shadows behind the bird. This is an ISO 200 shot. I've found that the E-5 @ ISO 200 can be rather noisy compared to my old E-1. Have you noticed that?This is a very nice series, by the way. I am not that skilled at shooting birds when I visit south Florida a couple of times per year. Thanks for the kind words. I just love it there....so much life!Regarding noise...I'd be comparing my 500... and in the past year (after finding this forum and others) my knowledge is a lot more than it was so really I'd have to pull out the old girl and do some tests.-Z

Myers maybe?I have a small condo in Bonita Springs, just north of Naples. I use it two or three times per year.
