Hawaii question...E5 or E-P2? Or both?

Going to Oahu in less than a month. Trying to inventory what I need to take with me. I will be doing some beach portraits. Obviously I would get the better pictures with my e5, but it's also a lot more for me to handle and take care of.Any advice from those who have traveled there?I'm already only taking my iPad instead of my laptop.Thanks.Oh, and what about foggy lenses on my camera? Big problem in Florida. Maybe there is something I can buy to prevent that.

Unfortunately for me I'm going to be that person. My wife really wants me not to work on the trip, but me being a perfectionist and having equipment puts me in a bad spot.I have a feeling that I will end up taking everything even though I won't really need it, because I will wonder what kind of picture I could have gotten. I just need to make sure to remember to enjoy myself and not document all that much.

For Oahu in the dry season I'd probably take the E-P2 (unless you have specific plans for activities where weather sealing would be needed, but I take it that you don't since you're asking the question). For the outer islands I might say otherwise, but Oahu is pretty tame.Aside from deep in the leeward valleys humidity will be pretty low, so fogging shouldn't be an issue.

Florida killed me, I missed a lot of good pictures due to the foggy lens.I have the 20mm lens to take with me for some portrait action, and I could attach the 50mm if I wanted to shoot manual and use the viewfinder, as well as my FL-50.This is actually one of the reasons I bought the E-P2, to be more portable on trips. But the E-5 is intoxicating to take because it just performs so well.Tough decisions for sure, but good choices to have so I'm not complaining.

when your wife telling you not to take the job along on vacation, then you should bring your EP2.. the IQ between E5 and EP2 is not vary far, beside EP2 is smaller and i belive you will get more picture cause you will carry along your camera everywhere..have a nice vacation arief

Travel light. Depending on what lenses you own, you can cover all the bases with micro four thirds. If you are a glutton for punishment or are likely to fret, then take both. And decide later what was good for what. I carried and E-1 all around Nevada and my photos were no better than a chap with a point and shoot... meaning a holiday is rushed and you are rushed and on and off buses. Go light young man. Or go West young man. Or both. I live in the Aloha State, but I can't give advice to cover all temperaments. I can sure try though....I use the Panny GH2 for travel. Lovely machine. Two lenses does it and small bag fits it all. Sweet. Juicy even. Aloooha....gs
