Ahhhh........ THANKS! I needed some sandstone therapy. Glad you enjoyed driving through the San Rafael Swell, it is one of my favorite places. The pics were awesome, nice and crisp!Lloyd --“For every problem there is a solution which is simple, clean and wrong.” Henry Louis Menckenhttp://lloydshell.blogspot.com/ http://lloydshell.zenfolio.com/ WSSA #354

Nice shootin' Scott. I love that first image.I've been that route many times before. Havn't taken may images though. I have taken some that looks in the opposite direction of your first image. Here are two that were taken from the top of one of those mountains that show in the background of your first image.BTW: There is a dirt road that goes through that first image of yours. It takes you all the way to Utah Highway 10. It is called the Buckhorn Wash (or Buckhorn Draw) road. If I remember correctly it leaves I-70 near the Utah Highway 24 that is the turnoff to Hanksville and Goblin Valley. If it is not raining then that road can be driven with any vehicle.Cheers.Ron

Really nice images! I live about a mile North of I-70 in Ohio and use it frequently. I need to jump on it and head West one day!

I always enjoy landscapes via the 31; good work here. Love the versatility of the lens, from infinity landscapes to up-close portraiture.

I used to use zooms, but the only one I really use anymore is the Sigma 70-200mm EX (it is prime lens sharp!) -- scott e burnham http://snaptphoto.com/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/scott_burnham/
