LBA Samyang 8mm/3.5 [pics]

Seeing as I print wide angle most often, I decided that along with my DA10-17 and DA14 I needed a Stereographic projection 8mm lens. When checking it's focus, I noticed that the best infinity focus was obtained for F3.5 at about 0.6m on the lens. I checked DPR, and found JNR's description (he says 0.7m) and web link:http://albums.phanfare.com/isolated/4fYFg8z6/1/5442548This is normal behaviour for this lens. At F11+ or so, the focus markings should be more accurate. The effect is calledfocus shift.Last night the sky looked pregnant with opportunity8mm, iso 100, F5, 0.7m focus. Resized only from JPG.Then there was lighting. F9, cropped, sharpened.Later there was golf ball sized hail which dented the copper spouting etc. I thought it was fireworks going off at first. No photo's though.
