I love the Pentax system, especially for its small primes, and some very useful features in its for the quality of it very small cameras. K5s quite operation is another bonus. This is a thread for things unique in the Pentax system, this time focal-lenght/aperturecominations not available in other mounts.which means that DA limited 40mm 2.8 does for instance not qualify even if the smallest 40mm bar the new XS.If some focal lenght/aperture combinations is available, but only without stabilizing please also write.

K400-600mm f8-f12 mirror zoom. Only Pentax has made such a lens. I wonder why?

The F*FA* 250-600mm/5.6 were unique lenses and excellent zoom lenses, Pentax should bring back that lens! -- Leopold Pentax forever http://smarcoux.zenfolio.com/ http://www.limagier-photo.com/ http://www.firstlight.com/galleries.php http://steevemarcoux2.wordpress.com/

I'd say these both qualify: The 2000mm F13.5 reflex. The A* 1200mm F8.

I believe Canon had a 1200mm F5.6 and Nikon had some 2000mm mirror lenses also -- Mike from Canada"I am not a great photographer! God is a great creator!
