Unexpected Tree Frog yesterday morning (1pic)

leopold

On my way to work i stopped at one of my favorite place for photographing frogs. up to now i've only sen Green frog there and now there pond is completely dried out because we didn't received much rain this summer. No luck for frogs so i took a short walk along the VTT trail, then just on the side of the trail i saw a Gray Tree Frog, this one is bigger and probably an adult compared to what i'm photographing at the other pond.I took a close-up of the head, not the greatest shot but fun encounter.K-01, DFA 100mm Macro WR with TC 1.4X-S, tripod, ISO 1600 at f/5.6.

Great shot Leo; he's nearly neon green - cool frog. Love the clarity, rendering, and bokeh of the lens too - underrated glass.

It looks like someone frosted the topside of it. Actually, I think it's an interesting perspective.I always enjoy looking at your creations. Hopefully you'll get some rain soon and revitalize your pond going into the fall. Thanks for posting. -- http://www.flickr.com/photos/52664228@N04/
