New APS-c flagship, I'm confident the rumor to be true but...

Since Andrea Pizzini's rumors were totally on the mark concerningSony's latest offeringI'm confident his rumors about a new APS-c flagship also to be true. Its annoying however for Sony to 'leak' any likewise information via 'obscure' routes like SonyAlphaRumors instead of hinting about it via their own (official) platform/channels. Seems all very childish to me but it will undoubtly be an integral part of their marketing to do it like this.Only thing now to wait for is what they are going to offer 'us'...so very annoying having to guess and speculate about features that will probably never see the light of day, or having to stall the personal upgrade wish/path...as by now I've made up my mind about an upgrade but to get certain (AF) features I want out of that (at this point) I have to move up to full frame...unless the upcoming APS-c flagship provides likewise functionality.I'm aware of the uselessness of this post but it had to be done.

I really hope it's soon as my gear was recently stolen and I'm in a position to pick up a new camera.

I know in the past Sony made several camera announcements in a given year, hope this is like 2019 all over again.

On that basis the next top-end APS-C camera is almost a year overdue, but COVID and the sensor shortage are reasonable explanations for a delay, rather than the endless forum dross that Sony has abandoned APS-C.

That's what I've been saying all along that a one year + delay is reasonable considering supply chain issues. Hope that because of that delay Sony will be able to put more oomph in that flagship APS-C.

It's nice to see a timeline although you might want to include the a5000, a5100 and FX-30.Cheers!Jim

Who would have thought that DPReview would be gone before the next Sony APS-C camera announcement?

The irony is that the FX30 was such an aps-c announcement.
