Hi All,I want to use a focus gear ring (to use with a follow-focus setup) for a 24-70 f/2.8 G Master II lens that I'm going to rent. But I need to know what the diameter (orcircumference), of this lens's focus ring is.Does anybody know this value, or have one of these lenses they can measure for me? I haven't had any success in finding out from online searches (DPReview lists a diameter in its review, but I don't know if this is the diameter of the majority of the lens, or of the flared front part of the lens).Many thanks in advance,Chas

The diameter is between 79mm and 80mm.  I hope that is suffiently accurate for your purposes.
