The tallest sand dunes in North America are here in Colorado. Only about 90 minutes away so I go there somewhat often. The light was bad most of the morning and the snow melted quickly but still a fun visit.

I found a new bird blind. I've been trying to find new locations and putting it out on Flickr groups and sending emails to touring companies, etc. I guess being off season I'm not getting any replies. Knowing a spot is great but you there is a lot of territory so you need to find the spot on the spot. I came across this with GPS coordinates if anyone ever comes here this is the most valuable link I have found yet. I know most of these spots and a few are my favourites like Salgados.https://www.algarvefun.com/algarve-tips/best-birdwatching-places-in-the-algarveVilamoura – GPS 37.107320, -8.151304Black-Headed Weaver

Was at Conowingo Dam in the morning.  It was cold but that didn't seem to bother the eagles or especially the cormorant.  The first picture is of an immature bald eagle.

A bland but cold sunset from atop Sandia Crest.

A very confiding Pied Hornbill. The owner of the property makes Pied Hornbill nest boxes, a little larger that your normal nest box it has to be said. He puts them up all over the island of Ko Yao. He also places them near to where trees may have fallen down to give the hornbills a nest. The happy couple outside their nest box.

This photo may not be considered remarkable by others, but for some reason I see that it will be one of my favorite photos from 2023.My new R6 mk2, and the RF 35mm on it.The artificial lake built around 1679 in back of the chateau at Versailles. The photo is from last Saturday, the 18th of March.I see, I am really going to like this new camera.
