Brand new X-E2s

Doug MacMillan

That's a great price for that camera!  I encourage you to keep it and use it.  I started with the X-E3, bought an X-E2, gave it to my grandson when his (used to be mine) Canon Rebel was lost in a fire and missed it so much I bought an X-E2s.  I also have the X-H1.There's just something about it that makes me reach for it as much as I reach for the other two.You mentioned using a vintage lens on it.  I have several and love using them. Here's a photo taken with the X-E2s and a Canon FD 50mm f1.4.X-E2s, Canon 50mm f1.4, RAW file processed in PS along with Topaz for B&W conversion

My X-E2S has taken me to a new level of enjoyment in photography. I hope when you break yours out of the packaging and actually experience it, you will agree! I believe it to be the last X-E series for me, as I prefer its physical controls to a touchscreen. The somewhat maligned X-Trans II sensor has a unique signature that perfectly suits my favorite subjects and style. With a prime attached, it's like going back to simpler days in photo expression. I hope you'll try it out!  Happy shooting!
