Pretty much the perfect travel camera

I have got GX9 and IMO it's the best image quality/size/lightweight travel camera. But it's quite a long story.I have also GX800 bt it doesn't have EVF.Why m43?I have many Panasonic and Olympus lenses and image quality is hard to beat with any other manufacturer's lenses. Even some extra zoom lens performance is almost equal to similar lens of high end.GX9 has more megapixels then GX800.GX9 has an electronic viewfinder - on bright summer day, when LCD screen is not visible, a EVF is a must. For framing and setting camera functions.I don't consider EVF quality most important and perhaps EVF is not important if using only camera auto mode.PS. Fujifilm lenses have been good also but Fujifilm system itself is bigger and heavier. All mid price range Sony, Canon, Nikon lenses I have tested have been a disappointment.

I hear you..Currently using the x-t3 and the x-s10.Both wonderful cams, with the x-t3 being such a lovely object to hold onto...

I had few of them. GF1, GF6, GX8, GX9, GX800. Still have GM1. Used to have two GX80. I have GX80 on the way to me now. It is the best of the GX series. No laggy touchpad AF like on GX9. Better build and pocketability thanks to fixed non-articulating EVF. Smaller crop in 4k. These advantages outweigh some better features in GX9 like the inclusion of AF lever, auto iso working with exp. comp. in manual mode.GX80 is definitely one of the most enjoyable cameras overall I have ever used, if not the most enjoyable. Love it, cannot wait to get my hands on it again. I wish Panasonic would update it with phase AF, deeper buffer and higher burst rate with AF-C of around 10 fps. I would then sell my E-M1 mk II.GX9 is great too but GX80 is just better in my eyes. I use raw so jpeg engine is no concern to me. GX80 raws are supported by googles Snapseed too so one can easily postprocess raws on android phone or tablet with great results too. Otherwise I use DXO Photolab on PC and often use Leica color profile to add some punch to the images (mostly warmer tones with higher contrast).

I am using the same GX85 setup as you and doing PP in DxO Photolab 6. How did you add the Leica profile to DxO? Thanks!

Thank you! I thought it might be a preset that had to be imported.
