There was a member named Henry. I think he lived in the South Pacific. Might have been New Zealand or Polynesia 🤔. Always gave helpful advice about M43 gear. Posted some interesting photos of his life on the island and island culture. His sister posted his passing  on DPR.

tedolf

Tim from Upstate NY and Tedolph used to have epic battles that drove the m4/3 forum to the top of DPR. Nobody knew it but Timmy and Tedoph were secretly frenemies and had good fun. Then Timmy got cancer and died.Sometime, life really isn't fair.R.I.P. Timmy.Tedolph

His posts were what originally attracted me to M43. Everyone else was arguing about lens sharpness and the dreaded E-word, and Geoff was posting all of those wonderful pictures and stories.

David was a true inspiration to many and it's sad that he was taken from us too early in life.

I posted this on the Olympus forum a few months ago after somebody referenced one of Ray’s old threads. He was also mentioned on this forum just a few weeks ago.Peter+++++Sadly, Ray passed away 22 April 2022I was a follower of his writings on his website and when it was taken down I did some searching and found that it had been archived by the National Library of Australia. With further searches I discovered his funeral notice.Ray was an avid outdoors person spending a lot of time in his 4x4 exploring the back-roads and tracks of the high country in Australia’s South East. He worked as a sports photojournalist for a while and he was a strong supporter of the Olympus Fourthirds System. I recall he owned the SHG 90-250mm f/2.8 and other SHG lenses.Ray was a prolific poster on this forum and never backed down from an argument - I had first-hand experienceIn recent years Ray developed a strong interest in Video production and I recall several posts concerning in-car camera mounts and power supplies for his off-road adventures with his E-M1II and had had recently started a YouTube channelI also recall seeing images he posted of his beautiful black Labrador Retrievers - which I loved to see because we had a Yellow Lab.Ray was lost in a tragic accident out in the bush doing what he love to doRIP OzRay

Looked around at DPR about a month ago and thought maybe he had changed his user name here. Sad to hear. Easy to argue with, but also easy to get on with at the same time.Danny.

Perhaps some older members will remember this gentleman?  Probably was on the Panansonic forum as I'm pretty sure the LC1 was his camera?  He was an older black gentleman, perhaps a minister?  He used to post lovely photos including his grandchildren and his walks.  The golf course I think? He was always so positive and encouraging and never had a bad word to say about anyone!  A true gentleman, and I'm pretty sure members made a tribute to him after he passed?  I can almost see his face - unfortunately not his name.I hope someone remembers who I am talking about?

Also sorry to hear that Nick - gardeners assistant - has passed.  Didn't realise that!
